Wow…that’s all I can say after reading this book from Gene Thornton, Jr. (known to many as Malice of The Clipse). This book is far from the self serving rhetoric in a lot of autobiographies out there. He doesn’t self exploit to make his circumstances appear unmatchable in a negative sense, nor does he sugarcoat. You don’t come away feeling he is trying to sell previous or future musical projects (sidenote: I love Christian rap but I’m not gonna twitter spam him to record an album). He aims to tell it like it actually is/ was and speak on the grace that God extends to a man who came to understand he couldn’t make any move to extend God’s grace. This is a testament to the truth of the power of the Gospel of Christ and how the Holy Spirit can draw a man no matter how he pictures himself. Click the picture to read more about it and purchase.
